Who can join our leagues? Our pickleball leagues are open to anyone. You do not have to be a member of Scarborough East Tennis Club at this time, although club members get priority for spots and a cheaper rate.
Do I need a partner? You do not need a partner to join a ladder league because you are put on a court with 3 other people.
Can my friend and I play together? Our current leagues are all LADDER LEAGUES. This means each week a player earns his/her spot on next week’s court according to his/her performance this week. Even if you join and start the league on the exact same court (which is only possible if you have very similar skill levels and/or DUPR ratings), you will eventually earn different spots in the league.
Do I have to play every week? You may share a permanent spot -- and the weekly costs -- with one other person if you want to play less often than once per week, or if you know you are going to miss several weeks straight.
What if I have to drop out of the league? You can drop out of the league at the end of any month. We do ask for 10 days notice so we can find a replacement player.
What if my friend/family member wants to join the league? Can we play together? Y
