ADDING PLAYERS TO LEAGUES
Scarborough Club members and current league members get in the leagues first. (This may result in one or more of the leagues filling up.) This includes priority on the WAIT LISTS.
All other players are accepted on an equal basis as long as there are spots available, those players meet league requirements, and the league is not out of balance (i.e., too many players of a specific skill).
THE PICKLEBALL DIRECTOR HAS SOLE DISCRETION TO PICK AND CHOOSE SPECIFIC PLAYERS ACCORDING TO THEIR DUPR SKILL LEVEL IN ORDER TO BALANCE ANY LEAGUE.
We do NOT hold spots in the league for anyone. Please do NOT register for the league until you are ready to pay for your spot.

IF YOU JOIN ANY OF OUR PICKLEBALL LEAGUES YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY ALL OF THE POLICIES LISTED ON THE WEBSITE UNDER "LEAGUE FORMAT AND POLICIES" TAB INCLUDING NO-SHOW POLICIES (If you no-show twice you are out of the league), SUBSTITUTION POLICIES, SKILL REQUIREMENTS, ETC. PLEASE READ THESE POLICIES *PRIOR* TO REGISTERING!
You must qualify for requirements as noted for any league for which you register.
YOU NEED AN OFFICIAL RATING TO REGISTER
We require **ALL** players to have an official ratings before entering our leagues so we are fair to all players. The rating can be a DUPR rating, USA Pickleball Assoc (USAPA) rating, or an official skills assessment by a pickleball Pro in Columbus. This obviously means you need to know how to play pickleball and have play experience to be in our leagues.
All DUPR or USAPA ratings must be based on enough playing history to be representative of your skill (i.e., 20 games).
If you don't know what DUPR or USAPA are, please proceed with an assessment by a Pro. You can call Scarborough East Tennis Club at 614 868-5683 to set up a skills assessment with Gerry Bennett or Blaine Carr. You can also have another Pickleball Pro at another club in Columbus do your assessment. **We need written verification (email is fine) from that Pro.** Please send verification to Jacqueline Boggs at copleagues@gmail.com.

NOTE: You may already have a DUPR account and rating. If you’ve ever played in a pickleball tournament, you most likely already have a DUPR rating and can claim your account.
